Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Thirteen years in the making and four different locations made for one of the most challenging projects I have undertaken. The final site, on Pittsburgh’s North Shore waterfront park, provided a significant venue to honor the service and sacrifice of the World War II generation of the Pittsburgh area. Through a written narrative using local voices relating experiences at home and on the battlefield combined with photographic images printed on the glass panels the story of this great generation is told.
